Memories can`t wait

Kalina Horon

23.-30.01.2026

Kalina Horon’s recent paintings signal a decisive inner turning: after years of navigating pop imagery and episodic geometric forms, her work arrives at a quieter, more resonant maturity. The canvas functions like a score, where colour and line establish relations rather than narratives, and where sense emerges through rhythm, pause and vibration rather than depiction.

These works maintain a fragile equilibrium between sign and meaning, presence and suspension. Curved forms cling, descend, dissolve; silence opens beneath them withoutanxiety, free of horror vacui.
In this intervallic space, Horon’s painting does not ask to beseen, but to be experienced—less as an image than as a state of attentive listening.
